REALTOR®, Residential

Wise Realtor Brian Dorgan, a Baldwin County native, grew up along the shores of Mobile Bay and has witnessed firsthand the area’s transformation while maintaining its small-town feel. Brian's ancestors were bar pilots, navigating ships up and down Mobile Bay, dodging unmarked sandbars, and safely guiding their passengers to port. Today, the sandbars have been cleared, and Mobile has since become one of the country's busiest ports, while Baldwin County has become one of the fastest-growing counties in Alabama.

Brian's own nautical ventures include a jet ski rental business at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear and a powerboat rental business in Orange Beach, both serving Baldwin County’s growing tourism industry. Brian is keenly attuned to Baldwin County's booming tourism along the beaches, the influx of major employers like Austal Shipbuilding and Airbus Aircraft Assembly to Mobile, and the excitement surrounding the construction of a massive steel plant in Bay Minette, in North Baldwin County. Brian is also enthusiastic about the national recognition his hometown of Fairhope is receiving as one of the best small towns in America and the growth opportunities such national exposure brings to the city and its corresponding real estate values.

Brian attended Fairhope High School, where he experienced all that makes Fairhope such a special place to live: a vibrant, safe downtown, a friendly community, and excellent public schools. Not only did Brian enjoy Fairhope's many art festivals, Mardi Gras, charitable polo events, and other traditions, but he also grew to love some of the area's lesser-known events and unique attractions. These include fishing summer jubilees, swimming in the icy cold spring of the Cold Hole in Magnolia Springs, and experiencing the unique tradition of having mail delivered by boat to piers along the historic Magnolia River, among many other hidden treasures in the area.

Brian then attended Spring Hill College, a Jesuit liberal arts college in Mobile, Alabama, on a baseball scholarship. Brian played shortstop at the "Pit," the country's oldest collegiate baseball field, where even Babe Ruth once took batting practice. Brian excelled at Spring Hill, graduating with a dual degree in Finance and Economics, while simultaneously earning numerous baseball accolades and a fond appreciation for the Jesuits' spiritual and academic traditions.

After college, Brian spent the next 15 years in private banking, investments, and real estate financing, working on both sides of Mobile Bay.

With such a diverse educational, entrepreneurial, and professional background, Brian currently offers a wealth of knowledge to buyers and sellers in every aspect of the real estate transaction, particularly in the Mobile and Baldwin County markets. His expertise, combined with his commitment to personalized service, ensures that every client receives strategic guidance tailored to their individual needs

Brian is a licensed real estate professional in Alabama and resides in Spanish Fort with his wife, Donna, a well-known local school teacher, and their two golden doodles, Gidget and Finn. An avid tennis player, Brian has won multiple state and regional championships. His focus, determination, and hard work are evident not only on the tennis court but in everything he does.
