Karen Qui and your husband Joe Ou moved to Fairhope 16 years ago to start their first business in the States. They along with their three beautiful children, have become a beloved part of our community with their infectious energy and abundant generosity. They are true entrepreneurs together as well as individually. Karen and her husband, affectionally known to locals as "Master Joe,” are the proud owners of three of Fairhope's award-winning restaurants, Master Joes, Wok by the Bay and Shanghai Cottage. In 2018, the couple took on one more landmark endeavor, an 11-cottage bed and breakfast known as Bay Front Cottages. This beautiful piece of property sits directly across the street from our infamous Fairhope Pier and has amazing views of the Mobile Bay. Six years ago, Karen opened her dream business, Knu Spa. This successful full-service day Spa in downtown Fairhope is where she has achieved great success as one of New Skin Cosmetics top producers. Now, if all of these ventures were not enough, Karen is taking her success in sales as a businesswomen and sharing it with her friends and family as a local real estate agent in Baldwin County with Wise Living Real Estate. Her college degree from Faulkner State College, her skill set of speaking multiple languages, and being both buyer and seller on many real estate transactions herself, as well as understanding the needs of both families and investors will make her a natural in the real estate market.
